Privacy policy

What we collect

Email signups. If you join the Winter Countdown we store your email address, the city you chose, the page you signed up from and the time. That's it. We use it to send the countdown emails and occasional updates about winter stays in Medellín. Every email has an unsubscribe link; you can also write to hello@skipwinter.co and we'll remove you by hand.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and cities people look at. It sets cookies; you can block them with any cookie or tracking blocker and the site works exactly the same.

Server logs. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, page, time) for security and error-checking, rotated on a schedule.

Referral links

Some links go to partners who may pay us a referral fee if you book or sign up (rental operators; Wise for money transfers). Those are marked where they appear. Partners have their own privacy policies once you're on their sites.

Where your data lives

Signups are stored in a spreadsheet in our Google Workspace account and on our own server. We don't sell, rent or share your email with anyone.

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: hello@skipwinter.co. We'll do it within a few days.
